NORDIC SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP 3.0
WHAT
The NSE 3.0 is a moduled entrepreneurship program designed to guide future social entrepreneurs by theoretically and practically integrating the social and the financially sustainable components of a social innovation.
It provides e-learners with social and business-oriented tools and methodologies that facilitate the exploration of a social problem, and leads to the construction of an impactful and sustainable business.
WHY
The powerful big wave of social entrepreneurship has proven to be an impactful and human-centered instrument to increase the involvement and inclusion of diverse social groups, increase the level of multisectoral employment, and contribute to the fight against social and environmental problems.
WHO
As part of the Nordic Council of Ministries Adult+ Program, the Nordic Social Entrepreneurship 3.0 program was co-developed among one Finish EdTech partner (Claned), a Danish social entrepreneurship non-profit organization (Sosiale Entreprenorer Danmark), and a Swedish educational institution (Folkeuniversitetet) with presence in all Sweden.

This program is delivered in an e-learning basis.

With the rise of local tech-oriented SMEs, BICTIA rises as an effect of the increased demand for innovation development expertise and risk capital within Colombia's digital economy.

This partnership is created by the cooperation between Oslo International Hub, ProBogotá Region, International Development Norway and NORAD.

An entrepreneurship program created to diminish the cultural and digital limitations throughout the innovation process by making entrepreneurial education more available for the international community across Nordic territories.
WHY
Certainly, the process of creating a business in the Nordics is drastically different between the local and the international communities.
In addition, certain cultural and digital competencies are key throughout the different stages of innovation in order for the entrepreneur to succeed:
- Which are the correct assets to leverage?
- Which are the modern “must-have” digital tools for startups?
- How can an international entrepreneur scan and spot opportunities within the Nordic business context and culture?

As part of the Nordic Council of Ministry´s Adult Plus Programs, Oslo International Hub co-developed the program together with Vifin, Ministry of Higher Education Denmark, and Folkeuniversitetet.
HOW
The program guides the attendees through the following modules in order to upskill their entrepreneurship competencies and provide them with respective cultural and digital tools, methodologies, and approaches.
In order to guarantee multicultural availability and understanding, the program is offered in English and in local languages (Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish).
The program consists of the following modules and is offered by business development professionals in an online or in-person manner (if possible):

TREND 2: EMPOWERMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING FOR MIGRANTS
WHAT
Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Program was created to train refugees and migrants in Europe to tackle the challenges for social and professional inclusion.
This program seeks to facilitate self-employment and entrepreneurship among displaced and vulnerable persons in transition (such as in Greece or Italy), centralized in reception centres (such as in Norway and Sweden), and registered at job centres (such as in Germany).
WHY
Migration is one of the toughest challenges for human beings. With all the cultural, professional, personal, and bureaucratic challenges that arise from this transitioning phase, there are many educational gaps that need to be assessed to foster genuine and structural social inclusion.
Having these complex challenges in mind, this program was designed to tackle the most important elements that are present throughout a migration transitioning phase.

This program is supported by the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership: Norway, Greece, Sweden, Germany, and Italy.
HOW
The program follows the “Home in transition Methodology” and has the following learning outcomes:
- This Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership is aiming to create a training program seeking empowerment and entrepreneurship trining for displaced population coming to European countries.
- Make Self-employment a viable option for refugees and displaced persons in Europe or their country of return.
- The project will improve and extend the supply of high quality learning opportunities tailored to the needs of individual low-skilled or low-qualified adults.
- Extending and developing the competences of educators and other personnel who support adult learners.
- Increasing learning demand and take-up through effective outreach, guidance and motivation strategies.
OSLO INTERNATIONAL ANGELS TRAINING
The course includes practical and theoretical input from presenters with in-depth knowledge of early-stage investment.
You'll hear their first-hand experiences and guidance along with 15 hand-picked startup pitches.
We'll work through voting rounds and conducting due diligence on the finalists. Through the 4 sessions you will gain the fundamentals of this exciting form of investing.
As a group guided by our Lead Angel, we will select a winner to invest in!
BAN ARCTIC PROGRAM
This investment training program is delivered by experienced investors and is meant to prepare participants for present or future investment opportunities.
The program is suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about investing in start-ups and is open to everyone.
The typical participant has the competence and a certain investment capacity to be able to participate with smaller amounts in investment rounds together with other business angels.
The course includes practical and theoretical input from presenters with in-depth knowledge of early-stage investment.
ASKER AND BÆRUM TRAINING
This is a Business Angels Norway program where startups have the opportunity to pitch in front of several groups of business angels and attend several sessions to talk with and explore the network we have to offer.

DIVERSITY TEAMS PROGRAM
WHAT
An inclusive entrepreneurship program for all (local and international) people wanting to be part of a diverse startup team or trying to strengthen their team's competencies.
WHY
As entrepreneurs or startup team members, it is critical that everybody in the team understands how to create, develop, and manage diverse teams that foster cultural intelligence.
The program had also a strong networking contribution for participants and led to the creation of diverse projects and well-complemented startups.
Lastly, the attendees were able to learn the bureaucratic and legal process of establishing companies, and all the procedures involved in it.
HOW
The program gathered numerous aspiring or current entrepreneurs who had an intention of building strong teams, or forming part of one.
The itinerary included a skill awareness and matchmaking set of activities where participants were able to identify the gaps in their own skillset or in their teams' skill set in order to search for a particular profile that could be of great complement.
The program included a strong approach on how to build cultural intelligence and facilitate cross-cultural cooperation.
